This photograph was taken in March 2000 during my visit to Cambridge. Terry had invited me to give a talk to the philosophy of education society. He went out of his way to ensure that Niki and I had a wonderful time which included a guided tour of the colleges and the town. Terry was Professor of Philosophy of Education at the Institute of Education, University of London, and his work in philosophy of education was greatly admired. I had the privilege of co-authoring two papers with him and of working with him on other projects. Terry died aged 56 on March 31, 2006. ¶ Back to williamhare.org
